Older Pup for Sale!

Sadie Cove is looking for her forever home!  Sadie is 10 months old and is an absolute gem.  A true velcro dog, she is either at my feet or in the same room or right beside me when we head outdoors.  She has a very sweet and affectionate temperament and is excellent with my children and with anyone wherever we go.  Her favorite place to be is right in your lap if you’ll let her - sometimes I think she thinks she’s one of the cats lol.  She is very smart and has done extremely well with all of our basic training.  She can sit, down, stay, and has great recall. She allows me to clean her feet when she enters the house.   She is very food motivated and is always eager to listen and work with you.  Is ready and waiting to go with me as soon as I step out the door so she never goes far.  She does well in the car (still might get a bit carsick but she is outgrowing it).  Enjoys activity, likes the water and a good hike but has a very good off switch, content to just chill with you in the house.  We have begun leash training and she is doing very well with it.  She will not chase cars (we live within 20 feet of a dirt road).

She is gorgeous and comes spayed.  All in all, I can’t say enough good about her and I have agonized over the decision to not breed her.  It

was an extremely difficult choice, one I have not taken lightly.  But there were a few factors that induced me to feel that breeding her was not in the best interest of the breed or for her.  We had some stubborn issues with housebreaking and also some health issues which led to her early spay to resolve it.

Cons are minimal in my opinion.  She is somewhat reactive to other dogs in public, on walks, etc.  But she has responded very quickly to an e-collar used with a light touch.  She is very sensitive so discipline gently.  May still have the random accident in the house, but I see this resolving as she matures completely.  If you don’t want a dog always in your business this is not the dog for you lol.

She is bright and curious with medium energy.  I honestly think she will make just about anyone a fantastic pet within any lifestyle.  And she is still at a very malleable age to acclimate very well to a new home and blend with family expectations.  We have loved her and the hardest part of being a breeder is not having the space for EVERY dog that comes through my door!  I am loathe to part with her.  My loss is your gain!
