Puppies, puppies, everywhere!

Puppies have been heading all over the east coast. It's been exciting to get them out to their new homes as the weeks have passed. My posts have been limited because it has been SUCH a busy time communicating with families, sorting through paperwork, and organizing transportation. What a roller coaster ride! Just when you think a decision has been reached, life happens and everything changes. But they have all been placed into wonderful homes and nothing has been more rewarding then seeing them all in their new families.
Susan (now Hallie) was the first to head home all the way to Arkansas! She will be doted on by a sweet young couple and live next door to a pasture of cows and look forward to travel and adventures with her new family.

Peter (now Sherlock) was our service placement to a sweet woman in Raleigh, NC. He left with our puppy transport man, Ralph, from letpopdoit.com. She has been nothing but pleased with her smart, energetic young pup.

Tumnus (now Finn) headed to a farm in VA with a lovely couple looking for a good all around farm dog to help with their chickens and horses.

Lilly (kept her name) traveled the farthest so far, all the way to Kansas City, MO to be with a young family with two boys on a homestead. Again, thanks to Ralph and his handy transport service.

Aravis (now Happy) left for Greenville, SC to cuddle with a three year old and her mom and dad.

Beaver (now Finn) went to the Richmond, VA area to another homestead with 5 sweet kids. He is going to have the life :).

Polly (now Cello) had a sweet companion that unfortunately was forced to go back to full time work outside the home. We both agreed it would be better to rehome Polly rather than have her in a crate all day. Before Polly made it back to my door, we had an agility trainer in NY snap her up! Ralph once again saved the day by swinging by Raleigh on his way home to VA and dropped her off in NY. Polly will have a lovely life with 6 homeschooled children, trained to do all sorts of fun doggy sports.

Edmund (now Duncan) turned out to be our only local puppy! The last one left, some of our dearest friends were visiting and decided to take him home for a "trial run". He stole their hearts and Edmund found his special place with 8 sweet children on a homestead in Marshall, NC.

What a privilege to find homes to match each of these unique little personalities. I hope each family is blessed by their Old Time Scotch Collie. I can't wait to see what Lucy's next litter has to offer!
