It's hard to believe it's almost been 6 months since Lucy's puppies were born! Here's a quick update on the whereabouts of all the puppies and how everyone is adjusting.

Happy (Aravis) went to Greenville, SC to a small suburban family with a 3 year old. Her family has stated she "is the best puppy and has surpassed my expectations!"
Cello (Polly) went to a home outside of Saratoga Springs, NY. Her family has six homeschooled kiddos and they are into agility training with their English Shepherd, Why. Cello gets to join in all that fun! Her owner states, "I am amazingly impressed with Cello. She's come so far. She's very eager to please... and her personality is top notch. Couldn't ask for a better girl honestly!"

Duncan (Edmund) was our only local placement here in Marshall, NC to a wonderful homestead home with 8 homeschooled children. "I have to just keep bragging on this sweet puppy!! He's so good, Charity! He has not once been out of earshot and always comes when called. He's just the best thing."

Hallie (Susan) went the farthest, all the way to Arkansas! "We along with everyone who meets her, loves her. She has taken up with our older dogs and loves the farm life. we had a newborn calf we were trying to save and she wouldn't hardly leave its side unless we made her."

Finn (Beaver) ended up outside of Roanoke, Va with another large family of homeschoolers. "Worth every penny! Last night our daughter woke up with a nightmare. She said she woke up scared and Finn was there cuddling with her so she felt better and didn't need to wake me up! Best pup ever! We adore him."

Lilly went all the way to a homesteading family with two boys outside of Kansas City, MO. "Lilly is wonderful. We love her. So sweet and very calm."
Sherlock (Peter) was our service dog placement in Mebane, NC. "I have been so impressed with Sherlock and it's thanks to all his early training! He has learned a few procedures and I'm hoping to start teaching how to carry packages."

Finn (Tumnus) is on a small farm outside Roanoke, VA. "Tonight he put up the ducks. No barking. No chasing. Just gentle pressure and no direction from me. Granted, the ducks were headed to bed anyway, but it was a beautiful thing. 36 pounds now and he's eyeing the neighbor's sheep like he knows there's more to life than ducks.
Here's a video of him moving those ducks!
